Since the start of the company near Sand Island in 1955, HWT has provided treatment services for the building industry of Hawaii with products such as Penta, Wolmanized, Osmose, and Greensalt. HWT continues to be Hawaii's premier treating facility offering Hi-Bor and Tribucide II treatment services.

In addition to it's wood treatment services, HWT is also Hawaii's largest wholesale building materials distributor.  Maintaining a large local inventory of products such as Simpson Strong-Tie, Trus-Joist / Parallam, DuPont Tyvek, and Closetmaid, HWT provides the building industry with immediate product availability. Our partnerships with various dealers/retailers throughout the state means product is usually available.
